About Us

Pre-Law Advisors are part of Loyola Career Services and provide information and guidance to Loyola students and alumni who are considering a legal career and applying to law school. The services provided include:

• Perspectives on coursework, skill acquisition, and career exploration
• Individual advising appointments; schedule via Handshake  
• Monthly updates via the Pre-Law Newsletter (sign-up in Handshake) about national law school trends and resources, local law school-related events and job and internship opportunities  
• Law school admissions information sessions  
• Relevant on-campus programming, including workshops on the law school application process, internships, and resume and personal statement writing
• Personalized guidance during the admissions process  
• Referrals to other university resources
