The 3-course Web Design and Development Certificate equips students with the marketable skillset needed to design and develop websites and web applications for today's marketplace. Using WordPress, students will learn about the design and accessibility of websites using a JavaScript based programming stack for web development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/ React or similar JavasScript framework).
Upon successful completion of the program, students will have the skills needed to seek out entry-level and freelance positions in web design and development roles.

- Apply graphic design principles and web standards to proficiently plan, design, and construct modern, browser-compatible websites while incorporating HTML, CSS, and JS.
- Develop and deploy modern, standards-compliant web applications while demonstrating proficiency in best practices, utilizing contemporary web technology solutions, and effectively managing software project versions through version control techniques.
