Biomedical Sciences

The Graduate School at the Health Sciences Campus offers advanced degree programs in a range of disciplines in the biomedical sciences.

A PhD degree in biomedical sciences is offered through our Integrated Program in Biomedical Sciences (IPBS). The IPBS is an umbrella admission program that allows students to select one of six different tracks for specialization (Biochemistry, Molecular, and Cancer Biology, Cell and Molecular Physiology, Integrative Cell Biology, Microbiology and Immunology, Molecular Pharmacology and Therapeutics, and Neuroscience) . Students admitted to the Stritch School of Medicine MD/PhD enroll in the IPBS during the PhD-phase of their training and join one of the six IPBS tracks.

Master of Science degrees in the biomedical sciences are offered by each of our six IPBS tracks, plus programs in Infectious Disease and Immunology, Cellular and Molecular Oncology, Clinical and Applied Proteomics, Mass Spectrometry and Medical Physiology.

A Pharmacovigilance Certificate program is also offered, in addition to a MS in Pharmacology/MBA dual degree offered in conjunction with the Quinlan School of Business.
