The Master of Laws (LLM) in Compliance & Enterprise Risk Management is a post-JD master's degree program tailored for attorneys seeking to develop or sharpen a special expertise in transactional law or compliance. You'll learn the practical skills for advising clients on best practices across a wide range of industries. Should you choose to focus in compliance, through our accredited program you will be eligible to sit for compliance industry examinations.

Curriculum

This program offers in-depth training in compliance, including courses in business planning, securities regulation, corporate compliance, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Students must complete a total of 24 credit hours. This fully online program is designed to be completed in 6 terms (two calendar years). Students can start in the fall, spring, or summer.

Education Immersion Weekends

Education Immersion Weekends (EIWs) offer programming to reinforce learning objectives, provide a venue for networking, and foster communication among online Loyola law students, alumni, and faculty. EIWs are usually held at Loyola University Chicago's Water Tower Campus. EIWs are optional but strongly recommended. EIW participants are eligible to earn 1 credit. CCB Exams

Degree Requirements

To earn an LLM in Compliance and Enterprise Risk Management, students must complete a total of 24 credit hours, including two final program project courses. Students are encouraged to attend Education Immersion Weekends at Loyola's Water Tower campus. • Integrate laws and regulations to operational policies and procedures to yield best practice and affirm ethical business conduct;

• Develop skills and knowledge necessary to pass the Compliance Certification Board Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) certification exam (for students enrolled in the compliance certificate);
• Communicate according to professional and credible manner; and
• Serve as a compliance professional across industries.
