Theology Minor
Curriculum
A minor in Theology requires 6 courses taken from within the Theology department. In addition to the three required Core-level courses, three electives must be taken at the 300 level. The three (3) Core-level courses must be selected from at least two (2) of the six areas listed below.

Learning Outcomes
Students completing the Theology Minor should be able to:
- Accurately describe basic sources and historical development of beliefs and practices of Christianity, with a particular focus on the Roman Catholic tradition.
- Analyze a biblical text using academic tools.
- Compare at least two different approaches to basic theological concepts.
- Analyze and critically evaluate arguments from at least two different Christian ethicists on a contemporary ethical issue.
- Describe beliefs and practices of one religion other than Christianity.
